Tulips for Rotterdam

The tulip project is based on a simple principle: choose a simple theme and allow as many pupils and students as possible from basic schools and vocational schools to participate in the project, help them where necessary and give them a chance to show what they can do.

The Fisherman

The Fisherman has been conceived and initiated by Ger C. Bout. The project has been realised with much enthusiasm (but without any budget) by students of professional schools in and around Rotterdam. It is the first project of the "Stichting de Visser".

Profile

"The Smile you send out returns to you"

Ger C. Bout grew up in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He studied urban planning in Delft / The Netherlands, was a trainee in Linz / Austria, worked in Otaniemi / Finland and travelled to California / USA and Asahiakwa and Tokyo / Japan. He proposed and realised numerous architectural concepts and installations involving the particpation of many others.

Recently the Fisherman project was realised in Rotterdam.
