not much to say today. i have been working on the the new project with the painting with the mill and the tulips. there is a lot of enthusiasm to participate in the project where schoolchildren design tulips and students of the first years of professional school make them, give them back to those who designed the tulips so they can paint their tulips.
for the rest of the day i have been working on the bathroom, getting the cupboards in place. i went shopping and i cooked as usual. no wine anymore during week days. there is too much work and too much to do and alcohol would disturb our working rythm.
not much news for the big trip. my mind is working in the background, digesting what i found on the internet: pictures, thoughts and routes. as usual it takes time to filter everything and to recognise the important parts: what to keep, what to get rid of, what to do and what not to do. slowly, very slowly the ideas will ripen and come to fruition. it make take a day, it might take a week, but without that quiet thinking period my work would not exist. it is common in all my projects.
i am sure now about a number of things, about for example the idea of a big trip, about the kind of objects, about the route to take and most of all that the project is about connecting people. but exactly that part is not yet completeley clear: it is not clear what connects these people and how.
