just work, yesterday, today and tomorrow. not much time to build. lots of telephone calls, emails and related issues. which means thinking, concentrating and sometimes doing. most of the work for the realisation of the fisherman and other projects is thinking about what to do, when and with whom.
nothing artistic, nothing like people think an artist does, just sitting and sometimes meditation-like behaviour - sitting in a chair or lying on a bed awake with my eyes closed and my mind working actively. there is a lot of information that comes available each days and only very little is useful and besides that only very little can be done, as every day has only a limited number of hours.
so how to find out what is useful and what is not. well i think about it and let my intuition decide. maybe this is not a good way, but it works for me and it made many projects possible and for me there is nothing better. i do not know how to do things in a different way.
my work is quite special in that sense that i have to find out again and again what to do, which is essential for my work. i do not like routines, i do not like to copy myself and i do not want to do the same trick again and again. that is why i choose a different concept for each project. the fisherman was realised without any commission or request and the next project that will be realised is not my idea. after that i hope to work on the global project in which the objects remain the same but where, due to the big trip, the locations are permanently changing.
