time to think

no meetings today, no obligations, just time to reflect on what happened and what should happen. all my projects are based no simple and easy to understand ideas and on complex stories behind those ideas. my ideas come forth of my background, my culture and my way of looking at the world and my interpretation.
i feel that my project ideas and plans belong together and, however different they might be, are related to each other. realisation is something else however. i have almost total freedom to come with ideas and proposals but realisation is something else under control of others.

making proposals does not take very long. getting a project realised, might take 10 years or longer. quite often a lot of work is done to get a project realised and suddenly a project is declared impossible, without any decent explanation, like in helsinki in 2000. fortunately the same project could be realised in rotterdam recently.

thinking is essential. it is inspiring to spend an afternoon busy doing nothing, giving my mind an opprtunity to put htings in order and discover things i had not thought of.
