4 Chairs & 1 Table

Nam June Paik Museum Design Competition Entry

For many years I have been interested in the work of Nam June Paik. It has been for me a source of inspiration and a continuous discovery of many different ways of thinking. I like it and I feel that the art world and the world in general would be boring without his energetic contributions.

A House of Names

The house of words was conceived thinking about inspiration. Inspiration is great when there is some freedom, when it is not too close, when it is possible to see it as a kind of sun or moon, circling around the earth. A Three Dimensional Drawing

The Crate House

The Crate House was conceived after a series of models for possible houses and forms the link between my work as an architect and my work as an artist. As an architect I did care about functions, I did care that someone could live there, I did care that the whole “construction” would be waterproof, heatable and comfortable. For an artist however that did not matter anymore...
