The fisherman can be found on the Charloisse Hoofd, opposite of the Euromast spacetower.
The Fisherman has been conceived and initiated by Ger C. Bout. The project has been realised with much enthusiasm (but without any budget) by students of professional schools in and around Rotterdam. The Fisherman is the first project of the "Stichting de Visser".
The Fisherman has been realised with much pleasure by students and the staff of the Albeda College: "bouwtechniek, electrotechniek, horeca, metaalopleiding en technodesign", of the haagse hogeschool: constructieberekeningen en communicatie and of the hogeschool Rotterdam: leerbedrijf pit, werktuigbouw and many others.
Realisation took place in close cooperation with Deltalinqs,
